The ParaMatildas is Australia’s first international football team for women and girls with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, or symptoms resulting from stroke. These exceptional athletes are redefining the national football landscape—breaking down barriers and demonstrating what women with disability can achieve at the highest level.

The Ottomin Foundation commenced its support of the ParaMatildas from the moment the team was launched on 7 March 2022. This landmark unveiling, set against the backdrop of the Sydney Opera House, introduced a squad of inspiring young women driven by passion, resilience, and opportunity. In 2024, the ParaMatildas achieved a historic milestone by winning the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF) Women’s World Cup. The future is bright for these role models and champions.
