The Art Gallery of NSW is one of Australia’s flagship art museums and the State’s leading visual arts institution and enriches the lives of those who visit through meaningful encounters with art.
Founded in 1871, the Art Gallery of New South Wales has played a central role in shaping the cultural life of both the state and the nation for over 150 years.
In 2023, the Ottomin Foundation commenced its partnership with the Art Gallery of New South Wales and has since expanded its support to enhance the reach of the Culture Dose for Kids program in two regional NSW galleries. This free arts engagement initiative is designed to support children experiencing mild anxiety—alongside their parents or caregivers—through creative, non-clinical experiences that encourage emotional responsiveness and connection with artwork, fostering creative engagement and improved mental wellbeing.
