Ottomin Foundation boosts community football through the Wanderers Winter Appeal

In June, the Ottomin Foundation strengthened its commitment to the Wanderers Foundation by supporting the Western Sydney Wanderers FC Winter Appeal with a $5,000 matching donation. This donation helped extend the reach of vital programs run by the Wanderers Foundation, the club’s dedicated community arm.

The Winter Appeal focused on expanding initiatives that promote female football, multicultural engagement, and all-abilities inclusion. Funds raised have directly supported the growth of these programs, fostering participation, empowerment, and inclusivity through the power of sport.

Ottomin Foundation Chairman Richard Kovacs, a passionate football enthusiast and regular attendee to Wanderer Foundation activities, praised the club’s efforts: “The inclusivity, participation and empowerment that football provides at the Western Sydney Wanderers is a privilege to experience. I’m delighted that the Ottomin Foundation was able to provide support.”

The Ottomin Foundation began its multi-year partnership with the Wanderers Foundation in 2024, marking a long-term commitment to nurturing grassroots football and community connectedness.
