Ottomin Foundation commits to three-year partnership with the Pararoos and ParaMatildas

On Wednesday 1 February 2023, the Ottomin Foundation confirmed its commitment to Football Australia for its continued financial support of the Pararoos and ParaMatildas for a further three years. At an informal but special ceremony, the Ottomin Foundation Chairman, Mr Richard Kovacs, confirmed funding of $150,000 over three years to 30 June 2025. Excitingly, Football Australia has agreed to provide matching funds of $75,000, meaning these inspirational teams have confirmed financial support of $225,000 over the coming three-year period.

The ParaMatildas and Pararoos teams comprise talented footballers who are changing the national football landscape in Australia. Each team is a pathway for young women and men with cerebral palsy and other brain acquired injuries. Their games and playing styles are infectious examples of positivity, passion and their immense love of football.

Since 2015, the Ottomin Foundation has been a proud supporter of the Pararoos providing annual team development funding and other assistance. The Ottomin Foundation has supported the ParaMatildas since it launched on 7 March 2022.

It remains a great privilege for the Ottomin Foundation to be connected to these teams and we look forward to continuing to support their journey over coming years.
