The Ottomin Foundation is proud to share that Jennie Kovacs has taken on a new volunteer role with Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF), focusing on cultivating partnerships with trusts and foundations.
Jennie and her husband, Richard Kovacs, founded the Ottomin Foundation in 2010, and are driven by a personal mission to advance medical wellbeing— especially in the fight against Type 1 diabetes (T1D).
As a multi-year donor to Breakthrough T1D’s Type1Screen trial, the Ottomin Foundation supports a free screening program for family members of individuals diagnosed with T1D. This initiative plays a vital role in identifying the early stages of the disease.
Jennie’s new role will focus on building impactful partnerships with like-minded trusts and foundations. Through collaborative support, we can all accelerate research, education and advocacy so that together we’re moving closer to a breakthrough in T1D.
