It was the fifteenth edition of the Malabar Magic Ocean Swim on Sunday 19 February 2023 and was a stunning day of joy and celebration for the 603 individuals, 62 teams and five corporate teams who participated in this year’s ocean swim event.
The annual ocean swim raises funds for the Rainbow Club, which provides specialised swimming lessons to children with a disability. The event is an all-inclusive swim meet offering a 5km, 2.5km, 1km, and 250m assisted swim dash, with heaps of Rainbow Club kids participating alongside aspiring athletes and enthusiasts alike.
The Ottomin Foundation was again a proud Malabar Magic event sponsor. A corporate team of Ottomin Foundation Charity Committee members along with their family members and Ottomin Group counterparties competed in 2023. To date, the event has raised over $107,000 for the Rainbow Club.
The event was again a wonderful privilege for the Ottomin Foundation to share in the magic of swimming and support the Rainbow’s Club network of social swimming clubs for children with disabilities.
